SetGetGo does not require you to register an account. Once you have decided on how you want to receive your payments (HTML Form, URL or the API) you will need to specify a merchant address. This is the address where SetGetGo will forward your payment once it has been received from your customer. We do things in this way because it makes for much simpler and cheaper transactions.
If you have a Coinbase account, you can simply request an address from within this account. Alternatively, if you don't want to setup a Coinbase account, you can also install your own Bitcoin node and generate receiving addresses from within.
We charge a flat fee. The value depends on the current mining fee on the Bitcoin network at the moment the transaction has been generated.
We take the fee calculated by the Bitcoin network to process a transaction within 20 minutes and then we add our service fee of $1.
I.e. if the mining fee is $2, you will only be charged $3 per transaction.
No. We charge the same fixed fee irrespective of the amount.
Obviously, the minimum amount depends by the fee assigned to the transaction itself. It is usually in the order of $4.
There are no other fees, hidden or otherwise.
We're working on them!
We try to send you your Bitcoin within 2 minutes of it being received and confirmed on our side.
No. The purpose of SetGetGo is to facilitate payments between a merchant and its customers.
This is to make using SetGetGo really easy! Think of embedding URLs in an eBay auction, or on a Tweet. No setup, no nonsense, just set, get, go!
